Meet the second 10 finalists of the
Academic Startup Competition 2022!
After hitting a record number of registrations, the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (UNL), the Netherlands Academy of Technology and Innovation (AcTI), Techleap and THRIVE Institute, have nominated 20 academic startups as finalists to compete in the Grand Finale of the Academic Startup Competition 2022 for the title of “Most Promising Academic Startup in the Netherlands.’

Selection
The finalists were selected based on their team structure, business model, disruptive innovation, track record & progress and societal impact.
This year, the ASC has a diverse group of finalists who come from all over the Netherlands and originate from diverse sectors, such as; healthcare, energy, construction, quantum computing and aerospace sciences.
The second 10 finalists are:
Ellogon.Ai, Exit071, Integer technologies, Lumetallix, Maeve, Pharmi, Quix Quantum, Reefy, Time Travelling Milkman and Zavhy.
Events
Tomorrow, during the Inspiration Event on the 21st of September at the Erasmus Enterprise in Rotterdam, the finalists will receive peer-to-peer sessions by Janet Bumpas and a pitch preparation by David Beckett. This journey will introduce the startups to all the ins and outs of doing business in the United States.
On the 4th of October, the Grand Finale will be held at the Rotterdam Science Tower. The 20 finalists will do their pitch in front of an esteemed jury and distinguished guests. During this day, the jury will select the 10 winners of the Academic Startup Competition 2022. The winners will get a tailor-made business trip to the USA. offered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and join a major international network of experienced entrepreneurs and researchers.
